A Journey Inspired by Her Mother
Srushti Mishra reveals that her journey into acting was not originally her own ambition but rather a dream nurtured by her mother. In her role as Ragini in Rahul Kumar Tewary’s 'Ram Bhavan', she reflects on how her aspirations were shaped by her mother's desires. 'To be honest, I never envisioned myself as an actor. I had dreams of either joining the Navy or opening a restaurant,' she admits.
However, destiny had different plans for her. 'Interestingly, my mother always wanted to be an actress when she was younger. In a beautiful twist of fate, I feel like I’m now fulfilling her dream,' she shares.
Srushti has appeared in various commercials and films, including 'Singham Again' and 'Bad Newz'. She also made a brief appearance in 'Bade Achhe Lagte Hain' and is currently starring in 'Ram Bhavan'. Despite lacking formal acting training, she began her career in theatre. 'Everything I know, I’ve learned on the job. Directors would often reprimand me, but they also provided invaluable guidance. Each director I’ve collaborated with has contributed to my growth in their unique way.'
